Good Times Are Intentional

It’s been a long time since I’ve have good hangs with a brother outside and in nature. Sunday afternoon, I got to hang out with my dear brother and friend, Tanner. He showed me some woods that ran by a set off railroad tracks and a small creek. It was very beautiful and refreshing. Earlier we bought a Kombucha for him, a cold brew for me and we made the trek.

We walked in the woods, leaving the sounds of passing traffic quickly behind us and checked out different deer trails, alongside the creek. After about thirty minutes, we turned around and walked on the train tracks back to the car. We talked about many things, past relationships, the curse of being nostalgic, our Red Wings and how the church is supposed to look regarding relationships.

After this adventure, we ended up at our pastors house for some Dominos, and church talks.

As we get older, the more difficult it is to spend quality time with one another but, if you’re intentional about it, it’s still very possible.

Good times are intentional and God is good.
